Christmas Chip 'n' Hymn on Wed. 12th December 2018 at 6.30 pm
Here at Halmer End we have occasional Chip 'n' Hymn evenings when we share a time of praise with favourite hymns and stories of their importance to us. These are very informal times of praise and we conclude each evening with chip butties and drinks and folk just enjoy the fellowship of being together.
Now we are in the season of Advent -- looking forward to the coming of Christmas and our celebration of the birth of our Saviour Jesus. This is the time when we have a very special Chip 'n' Hymn evening -- the Christmas Chip 'n' Hymn -- more a Chip 'n' Carol really.
So we invite you to come and join the celebration with our Christmas Chip 'n' Hymn. There will be congregational carols, music by the Unity Choir and soloist Philip Cartwright, accompanied by Jean Chin MBE; all followed with chip butties and drinks -- come and join us you will be very welcome.
