Minnie Pit Memorial Site Gold Award

The Minnie Pit Centenary Steering Group is very pleased to announce that the group has been awarded gold in the 2024 Community Gardens Competition organised by Newcastle Borough Council for its work at the Minnie Pit Memorial Site.

A wonderful accolade for all involved in getting the site to its present state – a great achievement truly deserving recognition for all the efforts made by our dedicated volunteers!
