Making pancakes at Monday Club

After a short explanation of the meaning of Shrove Tuesday, the children went into the kitchen in small groups. Helen bravely encouraged them to fry and flip their pancakes. The children loved the experience, especially eating their pancakes covered in sugar, chocolate sauce and lemon juice. And the best bit? They can do it all again on Tuesday!
