Messy Cathedral

We (Steve and Avril Frankish) represented Halmer End Church at Messy Cathedral at St Paul's in London. As we arrived at the North Transept door we were greeted by a statue of John Wesley, which made us feel at home. We manned a table right next to the famous painting of "The Light of The World". We told the story of the Ascension and helped the children to make disappearing angels. We joined in the Messy Eucharist under the dome of the Cathedral and after we were dismissed we went up to the Whispering Gallery. It was a great day and we are now full of new ideas!
