Mon club visit to Reaseheath, porcupine

On Monday 11th July, Monday Club had a great time visiting Reaseheath Mini Zoo near Nantwich.

We were shown round by Lisa who was able to answer all our questions — did you know that porcupines belong to the rodent family, or that Spider monkeys use their tail like a third arm?!

We all had fun feeding the goats, watching the kookaburras eat their tea, studying the meerkat family as it studied us, and meeting this porcupine as she munched on a carrot!

Thank you to Lisa, and we hope to revisit at some time in the future!
