Webteam: October 2021
PLANT FAIR — Saturday 30th October. From 10.30am — 12.30pm in Halmer End.
This is our last Plant Fair of 2021 — but we will be back in the Spring with lots more wonderful plants!
Autumn is a great time for planting hardy perennials allowing plants to establish before the onset of winter & so will produce fantastic displays next year. And it's not too late for freshening up borders, pots & containers with some Seasonal Bedding Plants. Our range of Polyanthus & Primrose (Firecracker, Rhubarb & Custard, Husky, Rambo, Everlast, Most Scented Mix, Primlet) are evergreen plants & will provide colour until May next year, and they are also perennial so come back year after year with very little maintenance! All the plants are grown locally in the village with proceeds to Halmer End Methodist Church (ST7 8AD). We will be in the hall to the rear of the Chapel so out of any adverse weather! We look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks, Simon
