On Saturday 5th December members of the Unity Choir from Halmer End Methodist Church, visited Claybourne, the MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged) Dementia Care Home, in Chell. The choir, with their conductor Margaret Nicol and pianist Margaret Ing, sang Christmas music for the residents and staff and everyone joined in with the singing of Christmas carols. This was a first visit to Claybourne by the choir and it is hoped that it will not be the last as many of the residents and staff appreciated the music so very much.
