Allister du Plessis, Regional Manager of the Leprosy Mission, led our service focussing on the work of the Leprosy Mission Hospital in Anandaban in Nepal. After the earthquake in April 2015, the hospital became the centre for the medical care and treatment of survivors. People already disabled by leprosy lost their homes, livelihoods and in many cases, their loved ones. Allister encouraged us to make a donation to The Leprosy Mission to help rebuild lives in Nepal. Halmer End Methodist Church has a big decision to make. Can we raise £2,500 in a year to pay for a new earthquake proof house for a family in Nepal?
